Joe has 28+ years of audit and tax experience in the field of public accounting with firms large and small. Joe holds Certified Public Accountant licenses in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, New York, and New Jersey. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Joe received his BS degree in Accounting from Binghamton University, an MS degree in Taxation from Pace University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) among other professional organizations. Joe has been a speaker for annual CPA continuing education courses in advanced tax planning and tax planning with stock options and was the author of an article titled “Penalty Free Early Retirement”, which appeared in the publication The CPA Journal.
Joe serves on the Board of Directors of the Sean Kimerling Testicular Cancer Foundation and is also a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as various other social organizations. He is an avid member of the running community and has completed 24 marathons. In addition to running, Joe enjoys time spent out on the golf course as well as quality time spent with his wife Heather and his son Michael.
